I'm Alick Jiang, a creative producer in New York City. I make independent film, program for the New York Asian Film Festival, and am building a location scouting platform to make it faster and easier to find a place to film.

Why I do this.
I produce because film is how people mark their own lives. They remember where they were, what was playing, who they watched it with. My job as a producer is to protect that possibility for the director, and get the thing made, whether the finished film moves someone to grief, to joy, or just to a longer conversation on the walk home.
So far that has meant creative producing on a documentary, five music videos, and a play I wrote and produced in school.
